Central Operations Manager & Real Estate Sales Agent

Tim is the Central Operations Manager and Real Estate Sales Agent responsible for oversight of forest management activities on all client-owned property in Alabama, western Georgia, and Mississippi. Most recently, Tim has served as Regional Manager of FRC’s Texas Operations.
In this position, he was successful in leading over 40 employees in the management of 1.1 million acres of client-owned assets. Since joining FRC in 2006 and becoming a shareholder in 2017, Tim has successfully opened offices in southeastern Georgia as well as launched the Lumpkin, Georgia operations. He has 36 years of forest operations experience in Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and Texas.
Tim obtained a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management from Michigan Technological University. He is a past board member of the Liberty County Forestry Board and Partners for Parks at Lake Warren State Park.
Tim has also served on the Georgia Forestry Association’s Environmental Committee. He is a SAF Certified Forester, a Registered Forester in Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina, and a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in Alabama and Georgia.
Ike Vinson, RF
Eastern Operations Manager
Macon, GA
As Eastern Operations Manager, Ike provides oversight on the management of institutional and private client holdings in northeast, central, and southeastern Georgia. His work ethic and attention to detail are important elements that have contributed to his growth as a manager of regional client properties.
Ike joined the FRC staff in 2007 as a forest technician in the Macon, Georgia office. He was promoted to an area forester position in 2009 and relocated to the Lumpkin, Georgia office. In 2014, Ike took over management responsibilities of FRC’s Waycross office as account manager.
He became a company shareholder in 2018. Ike obtained a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resource Management from Clemson University. He is a Registered Forester in Georgia and a member of the Georgia Forestry Association.
Jacob Rustin
Western Operations Manager & Real Estate Sales Agent
Nacogdoches, TX
Jacob serves as the Western Operations Manager in charge of forestry management activities in Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas. Previously, Jacob served as an Account Manager in our Nacogdoches, Texas office where he planned and executed forest management operations in the eastern Texas region. Jacob joined FRC in 2019 with 10 years’ experience as a forestry consultant and logging contractor in eastern Texas.
Jacob obtained a Bachelor of Science in Forestry and Wildlife Management from Stephen F. Austin State University. He is a member of the Texas Forestry Association and the Texas Logging Council and is a licensed Texas real estate agent.
Charles D. Hogan, RF
Senior Client Account Manager
Macon, GA
Charles is a Senior Client Account Manager with responsibilities including oversight and implementation of management activities on private, non-industrial client forestlands in central and eastern Georgia. He also manages reforestation operations, forest inventory projects, and provides support on appraisal projects.
Before joining FRC in 1997 and becoming a shareholder in 2017, Charles worked in timber procurement and served as forester with a large consulting firm. He obtained his Associate of Applied Science in Forestry at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and his Bachelor of Science in Forest Management from the University of Georgia in 1989. Charles is a Registered Forester and a Registered Real Property Appraiser in Georgia.
Brad Edmonds, RF
Senior Client Account Manager
Quitman, MS
Brad serves as a Senior Client Account Manager in charge of forestry management operations in western Alabama and central Mississippi. He is one of FRC’s key regional leaders given his knowledge of forestry operations and technical processes.
Before joining FRC in 2003, Brad received a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management from Stephen F. Austin University. He is a Registered Forester in Mississippi.
Mike Huffman, RF
Senior Client Account Manager
Texarkana, AR
Mike Huffman is a Senior Client Account Manager providing management oversight on institutional and private client holdings in the greater Texarkana region including southwest Arkansas, east Texas, northwest Louisiana, and southeast Oklahoma. He comes to FRC with over 20 years of experience in forestry consulting and property management. Mike’s previous work experience includes serving as a Fiber Inspector at Think Power Solutions, General Foreman at Phillips & Jordan, and Forester with Berry College.
Mike is a 2001 graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry. In 2018, Mike obtained his Master of Business Administration from Berry College. He is also a Registered Forester in the state of Georgia and Arkansas.
Brian Tison, ACF
Client Account Manager
Macon & Statesboro, GA
Brian Tison is an Account Manager providing management oversight on both institutional and private client holdings in central and eastern Georgia. Prior to joining our team, Brian’s spent seven years with The Forestry Company in Perry, FL where he rose to the position of Senior Forester.
In this position he gained extensive experience conducting timber sales, supervising logging operations, developing management plans, and completing timber inventories on client-owned lands. Brian graduated from Oregon State University in 2011 with BS in Natural Resource, and he is a member of the Association of Consulting Foresters and the Florida Forestry Association.
Chris Faith
Client Account Manager
Waycross, GA
Chris serves as the Account Manager in charge of forestry management operations south Georgia. Prior to this role, he served as a Forester in the Waycross office where he was responsible for executing field work for the company’s TIMO, REIT, and private clients.
Chris join FRC in 2004 as a Forest Technician in Macon office where he worked in twelve different states across the Southeastern USA as part of the field operations team. Chris is a 2003 graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) with an Associates of Applied Science in Forestry.
Nick English
Client Account Manager
Columbus, GA
Nick is an Account Manager in our Columbus, GA office where he handles all aspects of forest management for numerous clients in Western Georgia and Eastern Alabama. Nick previously worked as a forester in our Columbus, GA office as well as our Nacogdoches, TX office where he supported forest management operations in those areas.
Nick started with FRC in May of 2019 after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the Auburn University College of Forestry, Wildlife, and Environment. Nick is originally from Central Alabama.
Hunter Jernigan, RF

Hunter Jernigan is an Account Manager providing management oversight on institutional and private client holdings in southern Alabama, western Florida, and southern Mississippi. Prior to joining FRC, he worked as a Forester with American Forest Management where he was responsible for executing field work on institutional and private landowner client lands.
Hunter is a 2019 graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry. He is also a Registered Forester in the state of Alabama.
Phillip W. Smith, RF
Forest Management Contractor

Phil Smith recently transitioned into a part-time role as a contractor with the firm. He spent 41 years working as a full-time employee serving as an Account Manager with responsibilities including oversight and implementation of management activities on private, non-industrial clients’ forestlands in the Macon, Georgia office.
Phil also serves as a project leader on large-scale timber inventory projects completed across the southeastern US. He joined FRC in 1980 after brief employment with a forest products company. He obtained an Associate of Applied Science in Forest Technology from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and is a Registered Forester in Georgia.
Jackson Foster

Jackson Foster is an Account Manager in our Madison, GA office. In this position, he handles all aspects of forest operations management for clients in northeastern Georgia and western South Carolina. Before being promoted into this role, he worked as a Forester out of our Columbus, GA office where gaining valuable experience by providing oversight of field operations, administrative responsibilities, and annual budget development on client-owned lands in eastern Alabama and western Georgia
Prior to joining FRC in January 2023, Jackson worked as a company summer intern in 2020 and 2022. As an intern, he completed a variety of field technician tasks across the region. Jackson earned his Bachelor of Natural Resource Management in Forestry from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) in the fall of 2022.
